Position Summary
The ABE Math Teacher AM will be primarily responsible for raising the Math levels of a class of approximately 15-20 adult students. Students range in age and previous education. Students are working towards earning a high school equivalency credential. To this end,
The ABE Math teacher is responsible for teaching a range of Math topics. Experience teaching Math is required. It is essential that the ABE Math teacher has had training in and successful experience teaching explicit Math strategies. The teacher will work with the Director and Program Administrator to plan the curriculum. The instructor must keep attendance records, document student progress, and assist with other DESE-related activities.
