Position Details

• Position: Elementary Learning Specialist (Special Education Teacher)
• Grade Levels: Kindergarten 5th Grade
• Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
• Hours: Monday Friday, 7: 45 AM 4: 00 PM
• Start Date: August 3
• Caseload: Approximately 10 students (caseload may grow slightly with new enrollments)

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and academic support to elementary students with disabilities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and related service providers to support student success.
• Track student progress and maintain required special education documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that helps students reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Special Education Teacher License/Certification required.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
