Role Overview:As a School Nurse (LPN) you will, provide primary health care and emergency services to students and staff, promote wellness, and serve as a health resource within the school community. This role supports student success by addressing health-related barriers to learning.
Job Details:- 1: 1 LPN: @7 hours per day at a Middle School for a student with VNS, G-tube, and toileting needs; nurse must also ride the bus to and from Ashley House (a group home for medically fragile students)
Key Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide first aid and emergency care.
- Monitor students with chronic conditions (e.G., asthma, diabetes, seizures).
- Conduct contact tracing and illness follow-ups.
- Support individualized health plans for students with special needs.
- Maintain accurate student health records.
- Ensure compliance with state health regulations and school policies.
