26506 - Capital Equipment Sales Representative - East Bay (26492 | 26439 )

Our client is looking for a Capital Equipment Sales Representative to be based in the San Francisco East Bay (Davis, Berkeley, Oakland, etc.). This candidate will be responsible for the sale of technical molecular biology laboratory research instrumentation and related consumables into academic research facilities in the assigned territory. Additional responsibilities include managing existing accounts as well as gaining new business.

Requirements:

• B.S. in the sciences
• Senior Life Science sales experience
• A PLUS - Instrumentation sales experience 
• Proven track record of success

• Solid molecular biology technical knowledge (either sales or hands-on)
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Driven and passionate: strong prospector with a consultative sales approach  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability for some overnight travel
• Based East of SF Bay
