Our client has an opening for an Account Executive to be based San Diego who has a strong background in selling into the R&D world of molecular or cellular-based biology arena. 
Minimum Requirements:

• Ph.D., MS., or BS. degree in Molecular or Cellular Biology
• 2+ years of hands-on lab experience in a related field 
• 2+ years' account management experience within biotech, pharma, academia and government accounts
• Experience selling from the bench level to the senior-level stakeholders
• Experience selling molecular/cell biology, cloning, genomics, NGS, DNA, RNA, PCR products
• Proven track record in prospecting and growing business
• Ability to travel 50%, including overnight travel 
• Located in  the San Diego area
