We are currently hiring a Director of Field Application Scientists to cover a North American territory, ideally based in the Pacific timezone. This director will use their experience managing scientific support teams to lead, coach, and maintain a culture of collaboration and provide outstanding support to their customers. They will be technically strong in ELISA, immunology, protein biochemistry, and biomarkers, to name a few skills. This candidate will lead a team of FAS Managers.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in the sciences
- Hands-on experience in immunoassays, ELISA, biomarkers, molecular biology, etc.
- 3+ years of FAS management experience – managing managers is ideal
- Experienced in using metrics to hold their team accountable
- Strong presentation skills and must be an excellent communicator
- No issues with overnight travel and riding with the FAS team
- Ability for some overnight travel
- Based in the Pacific time zone is ideal
