Posting: 27-2-31 Posted: June 30, 2026 Dartmouth Public Schools Dartmouth, Massachusetts NOTICE OF POSITION VACANCY Position Posting: Dartmouth High School Anticipated Opening Lead Teacher/Stipend Position -Mathematics Starting Date: August 31, 2026 Stipend : $5,000 Requirements: MA Certification in Mathematics 5-12 Preferred Qualifications: Preference w ill be given to a candidate who can de monstrate the ability to: • Facilitate Common Planning Time to function as a professional learning community where best practices related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment are shared across the department • Manage departmental materials and resources • Remain informed on educational innovations and trends and share that information with administration as well as teachers • Facilitate team analysis of relevant student learning data to inform instructional and departmental decision- making • Assist in the annu al review and revision of the Program of Studies to make recommendations for programmatic and/or course changes to the Administration • Serve as a liaison to families and community members • Maintain a teaching load as determi ned by the Administration within the scope of the DEA contract • See job description attached hereto Terms o f Employment: 182 day work year to include the 180 days school is in session and two days before school begins fo r students and one other day as deter mined by the Principal; s tipend according to contract. DARTMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS DARTMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS TITLE: High School Lead Teacher/Instructional Coach QUALIFICATIONS : • Masters in the content area of the department to be chaired preferred. • Massachusetts certification as a secondary teacher in the subject area. • Successful experience as a secondary (9 -12) teacher in the subject area. • Such alternatives to the above qualifications that may be deemed as equivalent and acceptable to the Superintendent of Schools.
