Posting: 27-2-39 Posted: August 3, 2026 Dartmouth Public School s NOTICE OF POSITION VACANCY DARTMOUTH HIGH SCHOOL Position Posting: Special Education Teach er Starting Date: August 31, 2026 Salary Scale: $58,813 - $106,943 Requirements : • MA DESE Certification in Special Education /Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (5 -12). • Master's Degree preferred with a demonstrated abilit y to work with all students in creative, sensitive, and thoughtful ways. • Extensive knowledge of MA State and Federal regulations . • Knowledge of MA Curriculum Frameworks. • Familiar with MCAS and MCAS -ALT . • Ability to develop and implement effective Individuali zed Educational Plans (IEP). • Knowledge of the TEAM process. • Ability to integrate related services into the planning and delivery of instruction on a daily basis. • Knowledge of building based support TEAMS. • Ability to administer formal/informal assessments a nd document results/recommendations in written report. • Demonstrates knowledge of specialized reading programs. • Consult with and support regular educators and related service providers.
