Posting: 27-2-40 Posted: August 5, 20 26 Dartmouth Public Schools Dartmouth, Massachusett s NOTICE OF POSITION VACANCY Position Posting: Dartmouth High School Lead Teacher/Instructional Coach - Speci al Education Starting Date: August 31, 2026 Stipend : $5,000 Requirements: MA Certification in Special Education at the secondary level (9 -12). Preferred Qualifications: Preference w ill be given to a candidate who can demonstrate the ability to: • Manage departmental materials and resources including textbooks. • Stay informed on edu cational innovations and trends and to communicate that information to administration as well as teachers. • Meet with administrative and subject area teams to review data and other educat ional matters. • Lead department curriculum and instructional meetings. • Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum guides. • Assist in the production and revision of the Program of Studies and make recommendations for changes to the Administrat ion. • Serve as a liaison to the parents and community. • Assume a teaching load as determined by the Administration and within the scope of the DEA contract. • Performs other duties as included in the attached revised job description. Terms of Employment: 182 day work year to include the 180 days school is in session and two days before school begins for students and one other day as deter mined by the Principal; s tipend according to contract.
