Posting: 27-2-41 Posted: A ugust 6, 2026 Dartmouth Public Schools Dartmouth, Massachusetts NOTICE OF POSITION VACANCY Dartmouth Middle School Position Posting: Grade 7 - ELA/Social Studies Teacher Starting Date: Augus t 31, 2026 Salary Scale: $58,813 through $106,943 Qualifications: MA Certification in English (5-12) or History/Social Science (5 -12) Requirements: Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate: • Knowledge and understanding of the MA Curriculum Frameworks in English Language Arts and/or History/Social Science . • Prior experience and training teaching English Language Arts and/or History/Social S cience to students of middle school age. • Understanding of the developmental level of middle school students. • Experience addressing students' diverse needs. • The use of data to inform instruction. • Experience in creating a collaborative learning environment. • The ability to set clear and high expectations for all students. • Experience in generating parent/family engagement. • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues. • An understanding of instructional technology as they support student learning . • Ability to design and implement personalized learning experiences . • Strong background in project -based learning . • Evidence of a continuing interest in his/her professional growth .
