Posting: 27-3-24 Posted: July 29, 20 26 Dartmouth Public Schools Dartmouth, Massachusetts NOTICE OF POSITION VACANCY Position Posting: DARTMOUTH HIGH SCHOOL SECURITY MONITOR Starting Date: September 2, 2026 Pay Scale: $20.00 per hour Responsibilities : • Assists the school staff in the process of student management within the school building and on school grounds. This includes hallways and bathrooms. • Underst ands established school rules so as to support the management of student behavior in a positive manner. • Enforces the established cafeteria rules. • Enforces the behavioral expectations as outlined in the student handbook. • Manages the flow of children through out the lunchroom. • Assists students in solving lunch related issues. • Monitors school facilities to ensure the security of the building occupants. • Answers phone and does minor clerical tasks upon request. • Monitors the security desk check -in of visitors and items dropped off for students. • Provides supervision of students after school during bus pick -up period. • Performs related duties as requested by administration. Terms of Employment: Monday through Friday 6: 45 a.m. until 2: 45 p.m. - 180 day work year to include the days school is in session; 8 hour work day.
