The LPN under supervision of the Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, or Director is responsible for the direct patient care.
The LPN delivers care based on patient needs appropriate for the adolescent, adults, and geriatric patients within the LPN
scope of practice. He/she demonstrates an interest in patient centered approach to total nursing care. Demonstrates
cooperation, flexibility, and resourcefulness when interacting with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel.
The LPN shall be responsible for planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients under the supervision
of an RN. The LPN demonstrates competency related to medical/surgical patients.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing as evidenced by state licensure.
