2nd and 3rd Shift Production

Five Star Sheets, a corrugated paper manufacturer in New Carlisle, IN (only 5 miles from the South Bend Airport), is looking for energetic and motivated 2nd and 3rd shift Production Laborers to work in a variety of production roles. Five Star Sheets has been in business for 30 years with no layoffs and a continued focus on safety, sustainability, and service.

Job Type: 

Full-time- 50-60 hours/wk - must be available to work weekends as needed.

Salary: $18.00/hour probationary rate during the first 60 days. Position rates increase to $19.50/hour and higher based on position once training is completed.

Primary duties:

• Stack product and perform required quality checks and inspection.
• Sort, restack, flip stack, and hand band units as necessary.
• Verify that unit counts are correct. Hand count or inch count when necessary.
• Insure that proper load tags are in each unit.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be able to work 50-60 hours per week
• Must be able to work Saturday and Sundays as necessary
• Must be able to regularly stand, walk, talk, or hear for up to 12 hours
• Must be able to bend, twist, lift, and move up to 50 pounds
