We are seeking a detail-oriented Library Processing Associate to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will prepare books and audiovisual materials according to customer specifications for public and private libraries. The ideal candidate is dependable, enjoys repetitive hands-on work, and is committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay:$19.50
Hours: 4:30p-1:00am Sun-Thurs.
Essential Responsibilities
Apply spine labels to books, CDs, and other library materials.
Sort cards, labels, and processing materials accurately.
Apply Mylar/Kapco protective covers to book jackets.
Perform book stamping and install theft identification (Theft ID) materials.
Audit completed products to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
Follow customer specifications and company procedures when processing materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Minimum of 6 months of previous work experience.
At least 6 months of experience performing physical work involving standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, gripping, or similar job duties.
High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements
Stand and walk continuously throughout the work shift.
Lift and carry up to 35 pounds throughout the shift.
Push and pull carts or materials requiring up to 45 pounds of force.
Perform repetitive hand movements, gripping, and grasping throughout the day.
Frequently bend, squat, kneel, twist, climb, crawl, and reach overhead.
Perform repetitive keyboarding and processing tasks as needed.
Work scheduled shifts, including overtime and weekends when required.
Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.
Work Environment
This position is performed in a warehouse production environment where employees process books and audiovisual materials for library customers. Team members are expected to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety.
