2nd Shift 3D Image Surgery Technician
Location: On-Site
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-11:30 PM
Contract: 18+ Month Contract-to-Hire

Our client, a global medical device manufacturer, is seeking a 2nd Shift 3D Image Surgery Technician to support the development of pre-operative surgical plans used in robotic-assisted procedures.
This is a highly detail-oriented, computer-based position that converts 2D CT scans into 3D anatomical models and surgical plans used for robotic-assisted knee, hip, shoulder, and other procedures.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to perform highly detailed, repetitive computer-based work with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to follow established work instructions and procedures exactly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly preferred:
- Radiology, including CT, X-Ray, or MRI
- Nursing or another healthcare-related field
- College-level anatomy coursework
- Medical imaging or image segmentation
- Salesforce, Materialise MIMICS, or Adobe Photoshop
What You'll Do
- Convert 2D CT scans into 3D anatomical bone models used for robotic-assisted surgery
- Review CT scans for conformity with established surgical imaging protocols
- Segment CT scans using specialized medical imaging software
- Create pre-operative surgical plans using digital bone models
- Support planning for robotically assisted Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement procedures
- Review CT segmentations and surgical plans for anatomical landmark accuracy, implant sizing, and positioning
- Create and manage cases within a proprietary case management system
- Upload completed pre-operative plans to field-based personnel
- Document activities according to established procedures and quality requirements
- Follow standardized work instructions to ensure consistent, accurate output
- Meet individual, team, and departmental production and quality targets
