Pregis is seeking an experienced Machine Operator who thrives in a hands-on fast-paced environment. This Tier Four Converting Operator role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex machinery staying active and contributing to a high-performing team.
What Youll Do
As a Converting Operator you will play a key role in keeping our production lines running smoothly by:
• Setting up and operating converting equipment according to production specs & safety procedures • Performing machine startups shutdowns and basic troubleshooting • Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency • Conducting routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment • Operating electric pallet jacks roll lifts and hoists • Completing production documentation accurately • Performing quality checks in alignment with the Pregis Quality Management System • Maintaining a clean safe and organized work area • Supporting the team and performing additional duties as assigned
What Were Looking For
We want someone who brings both experience and initiative
Must-Have Qualifications:
• Proven machine operator experience 5 years preferred • Experience with machine setup adjustments and basic mechanical troubleshooting • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and standard safety protocols • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and machinery • Basic math and computer skills • Dependable quality-focused and committed to safe work practices • Preferred: High School Diploma or GED • Experience operating roll handling equipment hoists roll lifts pallet jacks
Work Environment
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy being hands-on and staying active in a production environment. Youll operate equipment monitor quality and collaborate with a supportive team committed to producing high-quality products.
