Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

We are hiring a 2nd Shift Billing Clerk for a well-established manufacturing company Anchor Fabrication in La Vergne, TN. This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and has experience with inventory, shipping, billing, or material handling.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Maintain accurate material inventory and billing records in the computer system
- Receive and inventory incoming shipments
- Enter material receipts, issues, and transfers accurately
- Process materials for shipment using open-order reports, pick lists, and tags
- Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory for assigned areas
- Identify and resolve billing and inventory discrepancies
- Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation
- Operate powered industrial equipment as required
- Communicate inventory or product discrepancies to management
- Follow all company safety and billing procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous billing, shipping, inventory, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable using computers and entering data
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic math skills, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
- Ability to read and interpret written instructions, specifications, and measurements
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 35 lbs occasionally
- Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Steel/composite-toe safety shoes or boots are required in production areas
- Additional PPE will be required as appropriate
