2nd Shift Buffer Operator
Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Position Summary
 In this role, you will support the production process by ensuring products move efficiently between workstations, maintaining a steady workflow, and assisting with material handling, quality checks, and general production duties. This position plays a vital role in keeping production running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. 

Essential Responsibilities
  • Supply production lines with the materials and packaging needed to maintain continuous operation. 
  • Remove finished products from production lines and transport them to designated staging areas. 
  • Monitor product flow to prevent production delays or bottlenecks. 
  • Inspect products and packaging for quality and report any defects or concerns. 
  • Stack, label, wrap, and prepare finished goods for storage or shipment. 
  • Operate pallet jacks or other material-handling equipment safely (training provided if applicable). 
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and sanitation standards. 
  • Follow all company policies, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety procedures. 
  • Communicate with production team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow. 
  • Assist with additional production or warehouse duties as assigned. 
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. 
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. 
  • Willingness to learn and perform a variety of production tasks. 
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift. 
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. 
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and reach throughout the workday. 
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures common in a food manufacturing facility. 
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). 
Work Environment
  • Food manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery, noise, and moving equipment. 
  • Fast-paced production environment requiring adherence to strict food safety and sanitation standards.
