Join Our Team as a 2nd Shift Laser Operator!
Shift: Monday–Friday | 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay:$20.00/hour ($19.00 base pay + $1.00/hour shift differential)

What You'll Do
As a Laser Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC laser equipment to accurately cut steel parts while maintaining our high standards for quality and safety.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Set up, align, and operate CNC laser machines.
- Select the appropriate cutting programs based on production requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, routers, and work instructions.
- Inspect finished parts for quality using visual and dimensional measurements.
- Load and unload steel sheets and change materials as needed.
- Perform routine troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and basic machine upkeep.
- Accurately complete production paperwork and update computer records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Assist with other duties as needed to support the team.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and enjoys working in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- External candidates: 2-3 years of CNC Laser operating experience.
- Internal candidates: Minimum of six months of Turret experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working with chemicals, lubricants, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Physical Requirements
This position is active and requires working on your feet throughout the shift.
Candidates should be able to:
- Stand for up to 10 hours.
- Frequently push, pull, grip, and handle materials.
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Bend, stoop, reach, and walk throughout the shift.
- Safely work around manufacturing equipment.
- Have good vision, including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
