Job Type: Full Time
Shift: 2 pm - 10 pm, M-F
We are currently seeking an experienced hands-on 2nd Shift CNC Lead Machinist to oversee daily operations on our second shift. This position will be responsible for supporting CNC operators, changing tools as needed, performing minor machine adjustments or repairs, and ensuring the shift runs efficiently and safely.
-Lead and support CNC operators on the 2nd shift to meet production goals
-Perform tool changes, offsets, and other adjustments as required during production
-Conduct minor troubleshooting and machine fixes to reduce downtime
-Coordinate job setups and ensure smooth shift transitions
-5+ years of experience in CNC machining (mill, lathe, or both)
-Strong working knowledge of G/M code, tooling, offsets, and basic machine maintenance
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
-Experience using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators)
