2nd Shift CNC Machinist/Programmer
Pay: $27 to $30/hr plus incentive and shift differential
Shift: 2:00pm-11:00pm

Are you a skilled machinist passionate about crafting high-quality precision components? We’re seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift CNC Machinist/Programmer who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. In this pivotal role, you'll set up, program, and operate both manual and CNC machines to produce industry-leading components, ensuring every piece meets our stringent quality and production standards. Bring your expertise in blueprint reading, tooling, and measurement tools to contribute to a team committed to excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Skills:
  • Proven experience setting up and operating manual and CNC machines
  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, depth micrometers)
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, tooling instructions, and CNC programs
  • Skilled in securing tooling and workpieces, loading CNC programs, and executing precise machining operations
  • Capable of completing inspection reports and maintaining detailed production documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues efficiently
  • Supportive team player committed to productivity and continuous improvement

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with CNC programming languages such as G-code or conversational programming
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Prior experience in a high-volume production environment

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification preferred
  • 3+ years of machining experience, specifically with CNC programming and machine setup
  • Prior experience supporting training or mentoring lower-level machinists

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule with occasional overtime as needed
  • Strong commitment to safety standards and workplace regulations
  • Certifications in machining or related technical fields are a plus
