We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented 2nd shift Commissary Kitchen Prep Cook to join our back-of-house team. Just like our daytime prep team, this role is essential to ensuring our café locations are stocked with fresh, high-quality, ready-to-serve food items. Key Responsibilities
- Read and follow recipes precisely to produce a variety of deli items used in the cafes
- Execute daily prep and packaging tasks according to established production schedules.
- Weigh, portion, label, and package food items efficiently and with attention to detail.
- Meet daily production and packaging deadlines with consistency.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as food processors, blenders, scales, and heating devices safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout your shift, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs to management promptly.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years old to operate kitchen equipment.
- Previous experience in a prep or production kitchen is preferred.
- Comfortable taking feedback and seeking clarity when needed.
- Dependable, adaptable and committed to maintaining high standards.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision.
- Valid drivers license required with clean driving record.
