    We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Composite Technician to join our MRO Composite team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is a full-time position focused on aircraft composite repairs. Reporting to the Director of Production, the ideal candidate will use their full knowledge and experience to complete all tasks in quality standards of the Company, FAA, and our customers approved maintenance manual.

    Important Notice:

    Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform cleaning, disassembly, and repair of flight controls, structures, stabilizers, nacelles, exhaust, and other aircraft parts.
    • Repair, modify, replace, or overhaul aircraft parts to ensure airworthiness.
    • Perform work within estimated or budgeted hours.
    • Know the proper use of heat control units.
    • Know various types of aircraft sealant and appropriate method application for sealant as well as aircraft fasteners and basic methods of installation and suitable substitutions.
    • Fabricate parts as required and have knowledge of metal and alloys and where substitutes may be used.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years experience in aviation component repairs.
    • High school diploma required, technical or trade school certifications preferred.
    • Basic computer skills required such as Microsoft Suite.
    • Must be able to read, write and understand English.
