The 2nd Shift Coordinator is responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by accurately batching and organizing metal connector plates used in the production of roof and floor trusses. This hands-on position plays a critical role in ensuring production teams have the correct materials available to maintain efficiency and meet customer delivery schedules. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will also serve as a liaison for Spanish-speaking employees, helping facilitate communication between production personnel and management.
Select and batch metal connector plates according to production schedules and truss design specifications.
Organize and stage plate orders to support daily manufacturing operations.
Verify plate quantities and ensure materials are available to meet production requirements.
Coordinate with production personnel to prioritize and distribute plates based on workload and delivery commitments.
Monitor inventory levels and notify management of material shortages or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of plate usage and inventory movements.
Assist with receiving, sorting, and storing incoming plate shipments.
Ensure work areas, storage bins, and inventory locations are maintained in a clean and organized manner.
Support continuous workflow by following up on hold orders and communicating material needs to production leadership.
Serve as a communication liaison for Spanish-speaking employees by assisting with translating work instructions, safety information, and general communication between team members and supervisors.
Promote effective communication and teamwork throughout the facility.
Adhere to all company safety procedures and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Ability to read and interpret work orders and production schedules.
Basic math and measurement skills.

Ability to lift materials and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

This position offers the opportunity to play a vital role in the success of the manufacturing operation while contributing to the timely production of high-quality roof and floor trusses and fostering effective communication among all team members.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am. (Eventual Fridays)
Pay: $20.50/hr. + monthly incentives
Full benefits after 60 days of employment.
Responsibilities:Customer interaction via telephone and e-mail (schedule, quote follow up, service)
Computer input of quotes and orders while maximizing schedule
Invoicing of shipped order and appropriate billing of each customer
Administrative duties to assist in business operations (filing, phones, mailings, new hire processing)
Duties as assigned to create efficiencies within Sales, Design and Production groups.
