?What You’ll Do (Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities)
As a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician, you will:
+ Perform repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on diesel trucks and heavy‑duty vehicles.
+ Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.
+ Use onboard vehicle computer systems to identify failure modes and adjust Engine & Vehicle Control Modules.
+ Respond to road calls and emergency repair needs.
+ Review and complete repairs noted on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs).
+ Document work performed using fleet maintenance software.
+ Test‑drive trucks after repairs to ensure safety and reliability.
+ Assist team members with repairs and collaborate in a supportive shop environment.
+ Maintain a clean, safe, OSHA‑compliant workspace.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned.
?️What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
+ Proficiency in diesel diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and heavy‑duty truck repair.
+ A basic tool set.
+ A Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
+ Hydraulic repair experience (a strong plus!).
+ Availability to work a 2pm to 12am schedule.
