  • Work Safe, Work Smart: Maintain a clean, organized shop environment and follow all safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate & Mentor: Assist with reviewing driver write-ups, coordinate repair priorities, and help orient or train newer shop technicians.
  • Stay Ahead of the Tech: Stay updated on modern fleet technology through continuous learning and technical training seminars.

What We're Looking For (Requirements)

  • Experience: Minimum of 1+ year as a diesel mechanic working with heavy-duty diesel/hydraulic systems.

  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs, climb, bend, crouch, and navigate a fast-paced shop environment.
  • Safety First: Ability to perform safety-sensitive functions and comply with local, state/provincial, and federal safety standards.

Why Join GFL?

  • Competitive Pay & Shift Differential: Great pay for your expertise, plus premium rates for 2nd shift hours.
