Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, knows how to motivate a team, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly? We are looking for a 2nd Shift Distribution Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 25 employees in our 100,000 sq. ft. distribution center.

In this role, you will help drive success across the operation by leading with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, cost control, and customer satisfaction. You will play an important part in making sure products move efficiently, team members are supported, and daily goals are achieved.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily operations and team members within the Distribution Center

  • Direct resources, delegate responsibilities, and ensure smooth handoffs between shifts

  • Coach, train, and develop employees to build a strong, cross-functional team

  • Oversee incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure products are received, stored, and shipped safely and on schedule

  • Support staffing efforts, including interviewing, selecting, onboarding, and training new team members

  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, employee performance, and workplace behavior

  • Assign work and ensure tasks are completed according to company procedures and expectations

  • Set goals, track team and individual performance, and provide ongoing feedback and motivation

  • Approve timesheets and PTO requests and participate in performance reviews

  • Partner with other departments to ensure strong communication and timely product movement

  • Generate reports and track key department and shift metrics

  • Identify operational challenges and solve problems quickly and effectively

  • Help plan, coordinate, and communicate project timelines and priorities

  • Promote and enforce compliance with all federal, state, and company safety regulations

  • Support other duties and projects as needed

What You Bring

  • Previous leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, or operations environment

  • Experience working with ERP systems, Oracle, or warehouse management software

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and distribution processes

  • Experience with Lean principles and process improvement; Six Sigma is a plus

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

  • Ability to adapt quickly and stay flexible in a fast-moving environment

  • A desire to learn, grow, and continuously improve

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and lead a team

  • Strategic thinking and sound decision-making skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Comfort using computers, laptops, phones, and other technology for communication and daily work

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and its key functions

  • Fluency in English reading and comprehension
