Hours
2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday – Friday

Pay
$23.00 – $26.00 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Support film extrusion operations with equipment setup, operation, tooling, and changeovers
• Perform metrology testing and film characterization
• Monitor and adjust computerized systems for recipes, film thickness, and quality
• Recognize and document defects, escalating issues to maintain quality and process integrity
• Provide solutions to equipment and process problems
• Maintain organized workspaces for safety and efficiency
• Handle raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress materials
• Follow safety and work instructions rigorously
• Adapt to evolving team needs and responsibilities
• Develop mechanical understanding of extrusion processes to support career growth

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or 4+ years manufacturing experience
• 1+ years plastics processing experience, including extrusion, cast or blown film, calendaring, or injection molding
• Must be very detail-oriented
• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to perform basic math, measurements, and metrology
• Electrical and/or mechanical aptitude preferred
• Experience with material handling equipment such as tow motors or pallet jacks
• Previous experience working off-shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to change

Nice to Have Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with computerized process controls
• Experience in a lab or R&D environment

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED
• 1+ years plastics processing experience, especially in extrusion or related fields

• Ability to work on-site at the Valley View location
• Must be a professional, well-spoken, and presentable
• Able to understand and adjust computerized operator settings
• Capable of performing setups, tooling, maintenance, and calibrations in the future
