2nd Shift Facility Maintenance Technician

Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a contract Facility Maintenance Technician job in Middletown, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining both the interior and exterior of a large industrial facility to ensure all building systems and equipment function properly. You will perform routine maintenance tasks including equipment repairs, material handling, basic painting, and seasonal outdoor upkeep.

Facility Maintenance Technician Job responsibilities:

• Perform routine interior facility upkeep including painting, light bulb replacement, and material movement using a forklift
• Conduct exterior maintenance tasks such as snow blowing and shoveling
• Perform equipment repairs and update maintenance logs and data sheets
• Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and hand tools to complete assigned tasks
   

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of general maintenance experience in a facility or industrial setting
• Comfortable using a variety of hand tools and working on ladders (4–12 feet)
• Ability to lift or move 50–75 lbs. and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and around industrial chemicals
