Final Inspector | Quality Inspector
Permanent Schedule 2nd Shift| Training on 1st Shift
Pay: $20.00 per hour (flexible based on experience)Work Week: M-Thursday
Our client is seeking a Final Inspector to join their Quality team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for performing final inspections on precision machined metal components to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards before shipment.The selected candidate will complete training on 1st shift before transitioning to the permanent 2nd shift schedule.
Responsibilities
  • Perform final inspection of precision machined metal parts.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring equipment including:
    • Micrometers
    • Calipers
    • Height gauges
    • Comparators
    • Other inspection tools as needed
  • Interpret and inspect to GD&T requirements.
  • Identify and document nonconforming parts.
  • Complete inspection reports and quality documentation accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve inspection issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications
  • Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience inspecting precision machined metal parts preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
  • Understanding of GD&T preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Dependable work history with a strong work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
  • Willingness to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift.
