2nd Shift Fitter- Chandler, AZ

Job Summary:\n \nFabrication simple steel parts by reading blue prints and building to specifications using hand held tools, power tools, and track type oxy-fuel cutting apparatus.\n \nEssential Job Functions\n\n Pass tack weld test in 3 F and 4 F positions with F4 electrode group.\n Interpret structural steel blue prints (shop drawings). Simple columns and beams.\n Be able to camber (heat or mechanical).\n Heat straighten using torch.\n Operate cutting torch.\n Utilize impact wrench to tighten bolts.\n Operate 90\u00b0 angle grinder.\n Operate overhead pendent controlled bridge crane safely and effectively.\n Use magnetic drill, reamer motors and reamers for making holes.\n Perform other duties as required by management.\n \nQualifications and Requirements\n \nRequired: High school education or equivalent. Basic knowledge of structural steel fasteners. Ability to read tape measure to 1/16" increments and add / subtract fractions. Ability to read weld symbols and basic knowledge of structural steel fasteners. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.\n \nPreferred: Two or more years' experience in manufacturing in the steel fabrication industry.\n \nProficiency and use of Software, equipment, machines, tools, electronic device necessary for job: Air arc, 90\u00b0 angle grinder, crane, heating torch, impact wrench, reamers, magnetic drills, welding machine, and tape measure.\n\n
