    Job Description

    If you have the following requirements and would like to join the East End Welding team, please submit your resume.    Thank you for your interest !!
     
    Fitter:
     
    Should be able to do the following:
    • Read a tape measure
    • Add and subtract fractions
    • Convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions
    • Read blueprints
    • Interpret dimensional tolerancing
    • Recognize machine stock requirements
    • Evaluate parts for accuracy
    • Recognize weld prep requirements
    • Should have some welding experience
    • Experience with reading a metric tape measure is a plus, but not required
    • Must know how to use basic fitting tools  (squares, levels, compass, etc......)
    • Use a hand torch
    • Do layouts in soapstone / chalk
    Hourly Range:  $18.00 - $23.00
