Warehouse Specialist

Location: Lancaster, TX 75134

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM, with a 1-hour lunch break

Job Description

Snelling is hiring Warehouse Specialist I team members for its distribution hub in Lancaster, Texas. This role is responsible for picking, packing, staging, and shipping orders; receiving and storing inventory; replenishing picking locations; and maintaining an organized, safe warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, palletize, and stage products for shipment.
• Verify orders and shipment quantities for accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers safely.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming products in designated locations.
• Replenish warehouse inventory and picking locations.
• Use handheld RF scanners to pick orders, track inventory, and record product information.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.
• Complete equipment inspections and follow proper charging procedures.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and follow safety and operating procedures.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to meet daily shipping goals.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of warehouse experience.
• Current forklift certification required; stand-up forklift experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic math skills and good verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Oracle experience and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
• Electric pallet jack certification is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the assignment. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Hourly Pay: $20.00
• Shift: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
• Lunch Break: 1 hour
• Work Hours: 40 regular hours per week
• Overtime: May be required based on shipping demands.
