As a Hand Packaging Operator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our packaging processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You'll work alongside a dedicated team, helping to maintain efficient operations and support ongoing production efforts every day.
What You'll Do
As a 2nd Shift Hand Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Completing gowning and sterilization training to maintain sterile conditions within the clean room environment.
- Operating, assembling, and disassembling packaging machinery to meet daily production targets.
- Inspecting labels and finished products to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
- Manually labeling and packaging products when automated systems are not in use or require assistance.
- Accurately documenting packaging activities and updating batch records.
- Properly labeling and disposing of hazardous waste generated during operations.
- Supporting team members with general manufacturing and packaging tasks as needed.
- Keeping workspaces organized and maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of packaging equipment.
- Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO standards to ensure safety and compliance.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience working in a clean room environment, especially within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of packaging procedures, safety protocols, and handling sterile processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a team and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production goals.
