As a Hand Packaging Operator, you'll support essential packaging processes, contribute to maintaining compliance with industry standards, and help ensure our products meet the highest quality benchmarks. What You'll Do
As a 2nd Shift Hand Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Completing gowning and sterilization training to uphold sterile conditions within the clean room environment.
- Operating, assembling, and disassembling packaging machinery to meet daily production goals.
- Inspecting labels and finished products to verify quality and compliance standards.
- Manually labeling and packaging products when automated systems are not in use or troubleshooting is needed.
- Accurately documenting all packaging activities and updating batch records accordingly.
- Properly labeling and disposing of hazardous waste generated during operation in accordance with safety protocols.
- Assisting team members with general manufacturing and packaging tasks to support overall productivity.
- Maintaining organized workspaces and ensuring cleanliness of packaging equipment to adhere to GMP, SOP, and ISO standards.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience working in a clean room environment, preferably within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of packaging procedures, safety protocols, and sterile handling techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a team and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines.
