Position Overview
We are urgently seeking a 2nd Shift Hand Packaging Operator to join our Inspection/Packaging team in Irvine. This position is responsible for the manual packaging, labeling, and visual inspection of finished products to ensure they meet established quality specifications.

Cleanroom experience is required. Candidates without previous cleanroom experience will not be considered.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment. Pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform hand packaging and labeling of finished products according to established specifications.
• Conduct detailed visual inspections of labels, packaging, and finished goods to identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Perform packaging-line activities including assembly, disassembly, preparation, and basic adjustments of labeling and packaging equipment.
• Manually label and package finished goods when automated equipment is unavailable.
• Follow proper cleanroom gowning procedures when entering and exiting designated areas.
• Accurately complete and maintain batch records, forms, logbooks, and other production documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
• Properly label and dispose of hazardous waste from the packaging floor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including packaging equipment, inspection machines, and tools.
• Assist other manufacturing team members as needed.
• Follow all applicable SOPs, GMP, ISO, safety, and quality requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cleanroom experience is REQUIRED.
• Candidates must have hands-on experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with hand packaging, labeling, visual inspection, or regulated manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product or packaging defects.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Good manual dexterity and initiative.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand continuously for two or more hours.
• Ability to work safely and properly use material-moving equipment as required.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary.
