This position supports the Housekeeping team by responding to guest requests, assisting Room Attendants, replenishing supplies, and ensuring the hotel remains clean, safe, and welcoming throughout the shift.Essential FunctionsMaintain cleanliness of guest corridors, elevators, stairwells, lobbies, public restrooms, and other public areas.Complete assigned cleaning projects, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and spot cleaning.Respond promptly to guest requests for towels, linens, amenities, cribs, rollaway beds, and other housekeeping items.Deliver and replenish supplies for Room Attendants and Housekeeping staff.Remove dirty linen, trash, and recycling from guest floors and designated collection areas.Restock housekeeping closets and storage rooms, ensuring they remain organized and fully supplied.Assist with meeting room setups, breakdowns, and cleaning as assigned.Perform deep-cleaning projects as directed by management.Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items following hotel procedures.Maintain cleanliness of loading dock, service areas, and employee workspaces as assigned.Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures.Work collaboratively with all departments to provide exceptional guest service.Perform other duties as assigned by management.ExperiencePrevious hotel housekeeping or housekeeping support experience preferred but not required.Experience in a customer service or hospitality environment is a plus.SkillsReliable, dependable, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, managers, and fellow associates.Working knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals preferred.Commitment to providing outstanding guest service.Physical Job RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift throughout the workday.Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to lift and carry supplies, linens, and equipment up to 50 pounds.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.EnvironmentHearing: Must be able to receive and respond to guest requests and communicate effectively with team members.Vision: Must be able to identify cleanliness standards, safety concerns, and maintenance issues.Speech: Must be able to communicate professionally with guests and fellow associates.EquipmentVacuum cleanersCarpet extractors and shampoo machinesFloor scrubbers and buffersHousekeeping cartsTrash and linen cartsCleaning tools and chemicalsHand trucks and utility cartsStandard housekeeping equipment and supplies
