We sort, process, and deliver linen for every healthcare need.The 2nd shift Janitor position is responsible for the care and cleaning of the plant as established by the departmental guidelines set up by the maintenance department. It requires the ability to maintain plant cleanliness and maintain good housekeeping functions. The starting pay is $16.50 per hour plus a $.30 shift differential. In addition, HCSC offers the following to all full-time employees:Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits with a Prescription PlanLife InsuranceVacation and Personal timeRetirement Savings PlanAnd Much More!What you will be doing:Maintain cleanliness of cafeteria and production areasClean and disinfect soil areaPerform disinfection and cleaning in restroomsMaintain stock suppliesComplete daily paperwork as requiredEquipment used:Utilize high-pressure air hose for the purpose of blowing down throughout the plant.Floor buffing/waxing machineFloor brooms/mopsHand-held sprayersVacuum cleanersWalk-behind snow blowersSnow shovelsWhat you will bring to the role:A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is requiredAdditional information:This position reports directly to the Plant Engineer and will be based out of Baltimore, MD.
