The Lead Bench Technician will perform their normal Bench Tech job duties in their specified department and oversee assigned Team Members’ work activities. The Lead Team Member is accountable for the assigned area’s production performance including quality of work. The Lead Team Member will support all Camtronics' policies, goals and objectives and will represent the company in a knowledgeable, professional, and positive manner. This is a 2nd Shift Position. Monday - Friday 3:30 pm - 12:00 am. Must be available to work overtime including Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate work assignments of assigned Team Members
- Oversee production performance of Team Members including the efficiency and quality of work
- Conduct audits/spot checks of Team Members’ work
- Monitors and expedites flow of materials within assigned area
- Ensure Team Members receive appropriate training to complete work assignments and those required by the Company
- Recommends processes to improve production, quality and efficiency
- Provides feedback to Production Supervisor regarding production issues and any employee relation issues
- Responsible for ensuring that all Team Members are following established safety rules.

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to be proactive and self-motivated
- Effective communication, interaction and collaboration skills with employees at all levels and functions
- Leadership abilities to maintain team functionality
- Basic Computer skills required
Specialized Knowledge or Abilities:
- Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
- Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills
- Reasoning Abilities: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand; walk; bend, squat, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.. The team member may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee works near paint fumes. Ability to wear a respirator is required.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
