Unloaders remove product from received containers onto pallets stack in designated formations. They also maintain all cleanliness in and around the warehouse.
Essential Job Functions:
- Remove products off of the containers into designated stack arrangements onto pallets.
- Utilize motorized equipment, as necessary. This could include Pallet wrapper, Compactor, Baler, motorized conveyor.
- Label the pallets with destination tags assigned by management and coordinate with warehouse clerks and forklift operators to move the product to specific locations for transfer or stocking.
- Coordinates with Warehouse Managers/Clerks/Forklift Drivers to move products when necessary.
- Maintains pallet flow of stock for stocking and transfers.
- Maintains all cleanliness in and around the warehouse grounds.
- Follow ALL Safety Requirements.
- Maintain all work areas for cleanliness.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Knows how to use pallet jack.
- Must be able to use arithmetic skills to count stacked pallets.
Other Skills/Abilities:
- Understanding safety standards within a warehouse.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Have the ability to work overtime.
- Ability to understand Vendor Stock Sheets.
- Be able to work on a team to accomplish goals.
- Good verbal and Written communication skills.
Physical Demands:
- Working in Warehouse Elements - high heat and cold temperatures.
- Lifting an average of 40lbs repetitively.
