Work Now Staffing is looking for a Logistics Supervisor for our valued client in York. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you!
Shift: 3:00pm -12:30am Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, and Sun (Thursday and Saturday off)
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Job Duties:
Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments
Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse Associates
Communicating with dispatch and inhouse customer service to answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems
Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery
Ability to multitask in fast paced environment
Qualifications:
3+ years of warehouse lead or supervisor experience
Strong working knowledge of the equipment listed above (one or more)
Solid mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure
Comfortable using hand tools, diagnostic tools, and maintenance software
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, when required
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred
