2nd Shift Machine Operator

Machine Operator Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production equipment used in the manufacturing of corrugated packaging products. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. The company produces corrugated packaging, displays, and related packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Perform machine setup and adjustments for production runs.
• Monitor equipment performance and make minor adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Complete production paperwork and accurately record production data.
• Identify and report equipment issues, material defects, or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Assist with material handling, packaging, and other production duties as needed.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in corrugated packaging, printing, converting, or related production environments is a plus.
• Ability to read measuring devices and follow written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Experience: Corrugated packaging, converting equipment, die cutting, printing presses, folder-gluers, packaging equipment, or other manufacturing machinery. The employer operates facilities focused on corrugated packaging, displays, and fulfillment-related manufacturing services.
