Job Title: Machine Operator – Latex & Oil Filling Department City and State: Cary, IL Pay Rate: $19.00 Schedule/Shift: 2nd shift 2:00-10:30pm Employment Type: Temp to hire
Summary: Operate and maintain automated and semi-automated filling equipment for latex and oil-based products, ensuring quality, safety, and efficient production output.
Responsibilities:
Operate, set up, and monitor paint filling machines, adjusting fill levels, nozzle settings, and conveyor speeds
Inspect finished products to ensure proper fill levels, labeling, sealing, and overall quality standards
Load materials, supply paint batches, and prepare finished goods for shipment and palletizing
Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to reduce downtime
Follow OSHA and company safety protocols while maintaining a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
Experience operating industrial or manufacturing machinery preferred
Strong attention to detail for quality inspection and measurement accuracy
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemicals and flammable materials
