2nd Shift Machine Operator
Hours: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM (will train on 1st Shift then move to 2nd)

Job Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining CNC machinery to produce quality parts in an efficient manner. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to manage multiple machines while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all company safety policies and procedures.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and manageable at all times.
- Promote a positive and respectful work atmosphere with supervisors, management, and team members.
- Adhere to company attendance and punctuality policies.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, management, and coworkers regarding production and any issues.
- Operate and monitor up to three CNC machines simultaneously, depending on machine cycle times.
- Load parts and bar stock safely and accurately into fixtures for machining processes.
- Understand and utilize basic machine control functions.
- Inspect tooling for wear and determine when replacement is necessary.
- Replace a limited range of tooling (e.g., drills, inserts, boring bars) and properly touch off tools.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure product quality.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for 8–10 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Steel toed boots, jeans, t-shirts, hearing and eye protection
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of CNC machine operation and controls.
- Familiarity with machining tools and measurement equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
