Dip Spin / Plating Operator – 2nd Shift
Pay: $19.00–$23.00/hour + $1.00/hour 2nd Shift Premium
Must be available to train on 1st Shift for a minimum of 2 weeks
About the Position
Reifel Industries is looking for a motivated and dependable Dip Spin / Plating Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring coating and plating equipment, maintaining process parameters, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting equipment or coating issues.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with E-Coat, plating, or coating systems is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
What You'll Do
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot E-Coat and plating equipment
- Inspect parts before and after coating for quality, coverage, and adhesion
- Identify, tag, and separate non-conforming parts
- Respond to quality alerts and make appropriate process adjustments
- Maintain accurate production, chemical, and maintenance records
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work with Quality and Production teams to resolve coating and process issues
- Assist with training and cross-training of team members
- Support continuous improvement efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of forklift experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and quality alerts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable transportation/personal vehicle required
- Strong attendance and dependability
- Ability to pass a drug screen during the 90-day probationary period and participate in random testing according to company policy

Pay & Benefits
- $19.00–$23.00/hour

- $1,000 Sign-On Bonus after 120 days of continuous employment in good standing (new hires only; rehires not eligible)
