As a 2nd Shift Machine Operator, you'll role purpose . You'll work closely with manager, department, or team to deliver results that make a difference.
What You'll Do As a 2nd Shift Machine Operator, you will be responsible for
- Setting up and preparing machinery for production, ensuring equipment is in good working order
- Operating plastic mold and related machinery to support consistent, high-quality output
- Monitoring the production process and making adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency
- Inspecting product samples and supporting quality standards
- Maintaining accurate production and quality records
- Following safety guidelines and wearing appropriate protective equipment
- Cleaning and maintaining machinery and the work area
- Troubleshooting basic machine issues or escalating to maintenance when needed
What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience operating machines (plastic molding experience is a plus)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and strong teamwork
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely
- Willingness to work 2nd shift and occasional extended hours
