Job Title: Machine Operator / Conversion Operator Level 1
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
Schedule: 2B Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Sunday and Monday off
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to perform semi-skilled work operating equipment used in packaging, loading, and winding/rewinding finished products. This role also includes preparing product samples, printing labels, and ensuring materials are packed accurately according to work order instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
Package rolls as they are produced according to work order instructions
Operate equipment controls for loading and unloading rolls safely
Assist with winding and rewinding finished product
Prepare samples of finished product as needed
Print and label material for customer shipments
Obtain materials from inventory bins for processing
Notify supervisor of damaged, defective, or missing materials
Perform machine set-ups according to standard procedures or work order plans
Check operating controls and safety stops before operating equipment
Review work orders and drawings, and resolve conflicts as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
Follow oral and written instructions accurately
Maintain effective working relationships with team members
Maintain required lift cart certification
Report any potential safety hazards to the supervisor or manager
Perform other duties as assigned
