Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Machine Operator III to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of production processes during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial machinery safely and efficiently, adhering strictly to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct thorough inspections of materials and finished products to identify and rectify quality issues promptly, maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Use a tape measure with up to 1/16 accuracy to ensure precise measurements and quality control.
- Perform basic math calculations accurately to support various operational tasks.
- Utilize basic computer skills to input data, update production records, and follow electronic work instructions.
- Learn and apply new job-related tasks through training and on-the-job experience, continuously enhancing your skills.
- Monitor equipment and process performance, making adjustments as needed to optimize productivity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating manufacturing or industrial machinery preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to read and interpret measurement tools and technical documentation.
- Strong communication and active listening skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
- Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts, with availability for up to six days a week, including mandatory overtime.
