Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
$19.00/Hour | Monday–Thursday | 4:00 PM–2:00 AM
Job Summary
We are currently hiring Machine Operators for a busy plastic rotational molding facility. This is a hands-on manufacturing position responsible for feeding raw materials into rotational molding machines, monitoring equipment throughout the production cycle, and trimming and finishing completed plastic products.
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys physical, hands-on work and is comfortable working around manufacturing equipment. Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred, but candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

- 4:00 PM–2:00 AM
- $19.00/hour
- Consistent 4-day workweek
Responsibilities
- Feed raw plastic materials into rotational molding machines according to production requirements.
- Operate and monitor machines throughout the molding process.
- Monitor equipment for proper operation and report issues as they arise.
- Remove finished products from molding machines after production runs are complete.
- Trim and finish molded plastic parts using hand and power tools.
- Inspect completed products for quality, defects, and proper appearance.
- Assist with machine setup and changeovers as needed.
- Follow work orders, production instructions, and established procedures.
- Maintain accurate identification and handling of materials and finished products.
- Keep the production area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Communicate production, quality, or equipment concerns to supervisors or leads.
- Assist with other production and manufacturing duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operating experience preferred.
- Ability to learn and safely operate manufacturing equipment.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a hot, humid, and physically demanding environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift and handle materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift and move heavier items with assistance.
- Frequently bend, reach, maneuver, and work around large molded parts.
- Ability to frequently operate hand and air-powered tools.
- Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
Working Environment
Employees will work in a hands-on plastic manufacturing environment that can be hot and humid for extended periods. The facility may include exposure to:
