2nd shift Machine Operator

We are taking applications for a Machine Operator with a company in Union, Mo!

Pay Starts: $18.00Hiring 2nd shiftDays: Monday-FridayHours: 3pm 1130pm
 

Machine Operator Duties:(Other duties may be assigned) 

• 
  Primarily responsible for performing all functions move raw products produced by a specified machine to the final packed product as specified with safety, quality, and quantity goals satisfied by performing the following duties.
  
• 
  Operates machinery, assembles parts, trim and clean parts, count label, package, and wrap products. 
  
• 
  Maintains quality and quantity goals. 
  

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• 
  Perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  
• 
  Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  
• 
  Write simple correspondence. 
  
• 
  Effectively present information in one-on-one groups/small groups situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization 
  
• 
  Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
  
• 
  Multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
  
• 
  Ability to perform these operations using American money and weight measurement, volume and distance
  
• 
  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions 
  
• 
  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations  
  

Machine Operator Environment: 

• 
  Regularly exposed to working near moving mechanical parts 
  
• 
  Frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather)
  
• 
  Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration 
  

• 
  The noise level in the work environment does not require hearing protection but the PPE is available for employees to use if they wish.
  
• 
  Summer months require working in hot temperatures up to 10 degrees hotter than the outside temperatures.
